New research published in the Journal of Clinical Pathology suggests that persistent exhaustion syndrome, likewise known as myalgic encephalitis (ME), is linked to a tummy virus. More than 80 percent of the biopsy specimens from individuals with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome checked positive for enteroviral bits, compared to 20 percent of samplings from healthy and balanced individuals.
